Fur Better Together began with a commitment to serving others, an appreciation for the bond between people and their dogs, and a simple question: What happens when an older adult is perfectly capable of caring for the dog they love, but one financial or practical barrier suddenly stands in the way? That question became the beginning of Fur Better Together. Founded by two people with a shared love of dogs, a heart for service, and a deep respect for the role companionship plays as we grow older, the Foundation grew from a simple idea: a solvable challenge shouldn't have to become a heartbreaking goodbye.
