If a financial or practical barrier is making it harder to care for your dog, Fur Better Together may be able to help. Asking for support doesn’t change the love, care, or commitment you’ve always provided. Sometimes, a little help is all it takes to keep you and your dog where you belong: together.
WHAT WE CAN HELP WITH
Support for the things that can make staying together harder.
CARE & WELLNESS
Veterinary exams and treatment, medications, necessary dental care, preventative care, and health-related grooming when these needs become difficult to manage financially.
PRACTICAL SUPPORT
Transportation for dog-related care, help connecting with community resources, and future planning so seniors can prepare for changes while protecting the bond they share with their dogs.

We’re Building the Foundation to Help.
Fur Better Together is preparing to begin serving older adults and their dogs throughout the Tampa Bay area. We’re building trusted community partnerships, securing resources, and putting the right systems in place so that when we begin providing assistance, we can do it thoughtfully and responsibly.
Assistance Is Not Open Yet
Fur Better Together is not accepting support applications just yet. We’re working to build the resources, trusted partnerships, and funding needed to provide meaningful assistance to older adults and their dogs.
